What are the nine "too big to fail" insurance companies in the world?

Since July 20 13, the Global Financial Stability Board (FSB) has selected nine "too big to fail" insurance companies every year. These nine large companies play a vital role in the global financial system and social stability because of their wide business scope, complex operation and large population.

The latest list is as follows:

Nine insurance companies that can't fail

1. MetLife Company

2. Allianz Insurance Company

3. American International Group

4. Aviva (UK)

5. Prudential Group

6. AXA Company

7. China Ping An Group (the only China company on the list)

8. Prudential Financial Company

9. Egon Company

We can see that China Ping An is the only insurance company in China. It is worth noting that China Ping An has been on the list in recent years and has been selected as a global systemically important insurance institution for four consecutive years.
