Introduction: Hong Kong Xingye International Group Co., Ltd. In 1977, the family of Dr. Cha, the late founder and chairman of the group, purchased the equity of Hong Kong Xingye Co., Ltd. ("Hong Kong Xingye"), which owns and develops Discovery Bay on Lantau Island. Subsequently, the shares of Hong Kong Xingye and another company of the Group (now known as Hong Kong Xingye (Property) Co., Ltd.) were listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited from 1987 and 1988 to 1989 respectively. During the period from 1988 to 1989, the group carried out a series of restructuring and agreement plans, and in May of 1989, Hong Kong Xingye International Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the company") was formally established, becoming the newly listed holding company of the group, mainly continuing to develop real estate and other related businesses.
