What are the types of financial leasing companies according to the different examination and approval institutions?

According to the different examination and approval institutions, there are currently three types of financial leasing companies in China.

(1) Foreign-invested financial leasing companies: approved and supervised by the Ministry of Commerce (inherited by the former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation).

(2) Financial leasing companies: approved and supervised by CBRC (below the People's Bank of China).

(3) Domestic pilot financial leasing companies: jointly piloted by the Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China (PRC) and State Taxation Administration of The People's Republic of China.
