1, Sheyang Andersen Fairy Tale Paradise
The national AAAA tourist area is the second fairyland in China and the first fairyland in Jiangsu with the theme of Andersen's story. The project covers an area of 13.33 hectares, and the construction area is about120,000 square meters. The landscape packaging method of Meng Tong Forest Park is the first in China. Relying on Andersen's classic fairy tales and referring to the most familiar story units, the park has opened up four theme areas, namely, the little girl selling matches, Thumbelina, the emperor's new clothes and the ugly duckling. It integrates seven theme venues, eight power equipment and six1theme landscape facilities.
2. Xixin Temple
AAAA National Tourist Area is located in the Yellow Sea and Sheyang River, covering an area of 6.6 hectares. This temple not only has the pattern of Buddhist temples in the Han Dynasty, but also has the simple and elegant features of Jianghuai architecture. It is a "famous temple in Jianghuai" and a "blessed land in the Yellow Sea". Xixin Temple was built in the late Ming Dynasty, flourished in the Qing Dynasty and was destroyed in the late Qing Dynasty. 1993, the Xixin Temple was rebuilt in the south of Sheyang River Gate.
3. Sheyang River Gate
The most beautiful river gate in China, the most beautiful water landmark in Jiangsu Province, was selected as a provincial water conservancy heritage list and a municipal cultural relics protection unit. Located in Sheyang River Estuary Scenic Area, it is a national key project during the "First Five-Year Plan" period, aided by Soviet experts. It is one of the landmark tourist attractions in Sheyang, known as "the first coastal gateway of China", with a strong modern Russian architectural style.
4. Houyi Cultural Park
National AAA-level tourist attractions, covering an area of nearly 40 hectares. The park was opened in May 2005 to receive tourists. There are fishing centers, water cruise ships, sightseeing bus, children's square, elegant tea room, cultural island and other leisure and entertainment projects in the park to meet the needs of the general public and tourists. According to the origin of the county name "Sheyang" and the legend of "Houyi shooting the sun", eight landscape walls were set at the entrance of the park, on which eight stone balls were placed, echoing the "Chinese Houyi altar" not far away, implying that Houyi shot nine suns and blessed the world.
5. Qianhehu Park
National AAA scenic spot, located on Happiness Avenue in the county, is invested and built by Sheyang Urban Construction Group. The total area is about 40 hectares, and the lake area is nearly 20 hectares. Designed according to the standard of AAAA-level scenic spots, it is positioned as a comprehensive citizen leisure park, which is free to open and close. The terrain of the park is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with continuous ups and downs, showing natural texture. The layout structure is "one axis, one belt and three districts", that is, "theme culture axis, landscape belt around the lake, ecological leisure area, romantic and colorful area and interactive experience area".
