The goal of responsible wool standards is to provide a tool for the industry to recognize farmers' best practices; Make sure the wool comes from the farm, manage the land gradually, and treat the sheep responsibly. The standard will create an industry benchmark to promote the improvement of animal care and land management when necessary, and provide a strong chain supervision system from farms to final products, so that consumers can believe that the wool in the products they choose is the real RWS.
? Responsible wool certification RWS certification application process
The processing cycle of RWS certification is 2-3 months.
1.RWS application: CU is a certification company headquartered in the Netherlands with an office in China. After receiving the officially signed application form and checking it, CU will establish a project to evaluate the feasibility and related expenses of certification.
2.RWS contract:? After the audit institution evaluates the application form, it will make a quotation according to the application situation, and the estimated cost will be detailed in the contract. The applicant will confirm and sign the contract as soon as it is received.
3.RWS registration: After the audit institution receives the contract signature and checks it correctly, it will register the applicant and issue the registration number.
4.RWS payment: After the audit institution issues the quotation contract, the enterprise needs to pay.
5.RWS audit: After confirming that the necessary system documents are sorted out, the audit institution will arrange auditors to conduct on-site audit and issue a formal report within two weeks after the audit.
6.RWS certification: Most RWS certifications are audited by the CU (World Excellent) organization, and the auditing organization conducts formal consultation within two weeks after receiving the official report. If there are any nonconformities in the audit, different measures shall be taken according to the actual situation, and all nonconformities can be corrected within the specified time before issuing the certificate. The qualification certificate will be issued to the applicant before the original is issued. After the applicant confirms that it is correct, the original qualification certificate will be issued and sent to the applicant to set the address.
