China Gas is a limited liability company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (wholly owned by a foreign legal person), which is mainly engaged in the investment, operation and management of urban gas pipeline infrastructure, as well as the development and application of related technologies. Although its main shareholders include Beijing Holding Group Co., Ltd., Sinopec and other state-owned enterprises, the proportion of state-owned assets has not reached 50%, and the company belongs to the joint venture model. Therefore, strictly speaking, China Gas cannot be classified as a state-owned enterprise or a central enterprise.
