On June 9, 2003, 10, Tianhe Navigation Communication Technology Co., Ltd. was established as the legal entity of the project "National Engineering Research Center for Satellite Navigation Application". The registered capital of the company is RMB 654.38+0 million;
On February 5, 2004, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the revised draft of the feasibility study report of the National Engineering Research Center for Satellite Navigation Application of Tianhe Navigation and Communication Technology Co., Ltd. with the document Development and Reform Hi-Tech [2004] 195. On June 20th, 2006, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation approved the preliminary design report of the National Engineering Research Center for Satellite Navigation Application with Tian Kejing [2006] No.716.
On May 15, 2008, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) revised the plan according to the evaluation opinions of experts organized by China International Engineering Consulting Company on the preliminary design of the engineering center (No.:20080 1). In April 2009, the National Engineering Research Center for Satellite Navigation Application, which was built by Tianhe Navigation Communication Technology Co., Ltd., the Ninth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, was completed and accepted. Experts from the Project Acceptance Committee and leaders of relevant departments of the National Development and Reform Commission attended the acceptance meeting. Members of the Acceptance Committee listened carefully to the report on the project construction and made a field trip to the construction of the research center. After discussion, it is considered that the project has completed the construction tasks specified by the relevant departments, as well as the construction of the navigation basic product technology research and development platform and industrial production demonstration base, and agreed to pass the acceptance. The leaders of relevant departments of the National Development and Reform Commission stressed that the center bears a major technical responsibility for national industrial development. In the future industrial development, we must properly handle the relationship between implementing services and supporting development, and serve other fields through transformed technologies. It is hoped that the center will play a good role in the future, promote the development of related industries and serve all fields of the national economy more widely.
The Acceptance Committee believes that the center has basically completed the construction task of the project feasibility study report approved by the state, reached the predetermined acceptance index, and unanimously agreed to pass the acceptance. The establishment and operation of the National Engineering Research Center for Satellite Navigation Applications will certainly make important contributions to China's core technological innovation, transformation of scientific research achievements, formulation of norms and standards, and improvement of industrial comprehensive strength.
In April 2009, the engineering center was officially put into operation after the acceptance by the National Development and Reform Commission.
