Guangdong Shi Wen Food Group Co., Ltd. decided to develop dairy industry into the third economic growth point of the group in line with the policy of diversified development of enterprises, and signed a contract with South China Agricultural University in July 2000 to jointly establish Shi Wen Dairy Co., Ltd., in which Shiwen Group holds 80% shares and Huanong University holds 20%. Dinghu Shi Wen Dairy Co., Ltd. invested 50 million yuan in the first phase.
At present, Dinghu Shi Wen Dairy Co., Ltd. has more than 65,438+0,700 cows, most of which are imported from Australia, including Holstein and Juanshan. It is a dairy farm with Juanshan cattle as the core population. According to the available information and data, this dairy farm is the largest core group of Juanshan cattle in China. The annual demand for green fodder is more than10.7 million tons, and 3,500 mu of feed corn needs to be planted (calculated by three crops a year). These green feeds are mainly supplied by Dinghu, Sanshui, Sihui and other surrounding areas. Last year, more than 1300 farmers planted feed corn, which increased 800 yuan's income, and to some extent, promoted the economic development of surrounding areas.
