The charging pile is similar in function to the tanker of a gas station. It can be fixed on the ground or wall, installed in parking lots or charging stations of public buildings and residential quarters, and can charge various types of electric vehicles according to different voltage levels. The input end of the charging pile is directly connected to the AC power grid, and the output end is equipped with a charging plug to charge the electric vehicle.
Charging piles generally provide two charging methods: conventional charging and fast charging. People can use a specific charging card to swipe their cards on the man-machine interface provided by the charging pile and print the corresponding charging method, charging time and cost data. The charging pile display screen can display data such as charging amount, cost and charging time.
Safety requirements of charging piles
1, substation should be equipped with safety posts, warning signs, safety lights and alarm bells. Stop and high voltage danger warning signs should be hung outside the high voltage distribution room and transformer room or on the safety post of the substation. Warning signs must face the outside of the fence. There should be obvious operating instructions on the high-voltage distribution equipment, and the grounding point of the equipment should be clearly visible.
2. There should be obvious safe passage or exit signs indoors. The layout design of substation and distribution equipment should be convenient for installation, operation, handling, maintenance, testing and monitoring. The high and low voltage distribution room, transformer room, capacitor room and control room shall be free of irrelevant pipes and lines.
