Figure 1 Garbage Classification and Disposal
Kitchen waste is a kind of garbage, mainly food residue, food processing waste, waste gas and edible oil produced by related enterprises and institutions in food processing, catering service and unit feeding. It has the characteristics of large output, relatively concentrated quantity but wide distribution. Kitchen waste is a kind of domestic waste, also known as wet waste and perishable waste. It is mainly composed of leftovers, melon and fruit shells, rotten meat and bones, waste food, etc. produced in the daily life of residents' families and farmers' markets. It has the characteristics of large quantity but relatively dispersed, perishable and stinking.
The hazards of kitchen waste are as follows:
1. If the relevant departments are lax in management, food safety accidents will easily occur. We often say that gutter oil and saliva oil are actually a kind of kitchen waste. In the case of untimely and irregular treatment of kitchen waste, it is easy for illegal traders to take advantage of the loopholes and steal waste oil from kitchen waste for profit.
2. The amount of kitchen waste is huge and relatively concentrated. If it is not treated in time, it will not only stink, but also attract mosquitoes, cockroaches and rats, which will easily lead to the spread of diseases and have a great impact on the health and normal life of nearby residents.
3. The kitchen waste is high in oil content and perishable. If it is not treated in time, it will easily produce a lot of toxic and harmful leachate and organic matter, destroy local soil and even groundwater, and seriously endanger the surrounding ecological environment.
