The desulfurization reconstruction project of No.8 200MW unit in Douhe Power Plant, which was built by Guodian Qingxin with cyclone coupling technology, was successfully put into operation in 2005, marking the first successful application of wet flue gas desulfurization technology independently developed by China in large thermal power plants, and the project also passed the operation inspection (post-evaluation) of desulfurization facilities organized by China Electric Power Enterprise Federation. In 2008, Guodian Qingxin, as one of the first batch of seven desulfurization professional companies approved to participate in the pilot project, won the franchise right of flue gas desulfurization of 8×600MW units in Tuoketuo Power Plant with the largest capacity in the first batch of projects, and all of them have been running efficiently and stably according to the franchise mode, which has played an important role as a demonstration benchmark in the industry.
