Employment direction is relatively wide, engaged in coal mine, site construction, water conservancy and nuclear power, safety management, occupational health and other directions. Safety engineering belongs to the two disciplines of the first-class discipline "Safety Science and Engineering (discipline code 0837)". This major focuses on cultivating students who can engage in safety technology and engineering, safety science and research, safety supervision and management, identification and detection of hazardous and harmful factors in the workplace, safety design and production, and safety education and training.
