Interestingly, the power amplifier chip on the circuit board is not placed on the metal backplane, but fixed on another large metal board, and this metal board is also fixed with the metal backplane, so its heat dissipation effect should be good.

The front stage of rambler S2. 1M uses NE5532P chip, which we can only describe as "classic". S2. 1M's second-stage power amplifier uses two TDA7379 to form a dual-channel BTL amplifier circuit.
BTL means bridge amplifier, which requires two sets of mono power amplifier chips. The maximum output voltage on the load can be doubled, and theoretically the maximum output power can reach four times that of a general amplifier. TDA7379 has four outputs, which is equivalent to four mono amplification chips. The rambler divides the four channels into two groups, each group constitutes a set of BTL, and the four channels can form a dual BTL, and the two BTL channels correspond to the dual voice coils of the woofer respectively. This design increases the output power of the bass circuit by 8 times! Therefore, dual BTL design is very rare in multimedia speaker products.

The author thinks that the rambler S2. 1M has two advantages, one is its outstanding appearance, and the other is its musical sound. The electro-acoustic index of rambler S2. 1M is excellent, and the rated power is as high as 72W, far exceeding the level of ordinary 2. 1 speaker. In order to test this speaker, we listened to the following tracks: that year, on the road, Chibi drums, the sky, reservations, four violin concertos and so on.
Test track
The treble of rambler S2. 1M is clear and transparent due to the new corrugated wavy silk diaphragm, without the harsh feeling of ordinary soft film treble, with fine and bright sound, higher density and clearer line sense. Its high frequency is full, not as bright as some brands of speakers, so the high frequency is excessive, but the resolution of the whole middle and high frequency band is excellent and can be extended far away.
The IF performance of rambler S2. 1M is not as brilliant as HF, but it is also remarkable. When listening to "That Year" and "On the Road", S2. 1M can express the unique vicissitudes of Xu Wei, but it is still limited by the apartment type, and the sense of heaviness is slightly lacking. But in the performance of female voice, S2. 1M surprised the author. S2. 1M has high resolution, and the vocal details sound very real. When listening to "Appointment", Faye Wong's gentle and charming timbre is all exciting, and the first few gentle words in the song are almost perfect. Generally speaking, female voice is difficult to express in the middle and high frequency bands. The frequency division point of rambler S2. 1M satellite speaker unit is very suitable, and it has excellent response in the most sensitive 3 kHz-5 kHz frequency band, and it is really rare to express female voices.
The rambler S2. 1M speaker uses a 6.5-inch super-large double voice coil bass unit, but it has its own uniqueness in low-frequency control, which can be summarized by the word "balance". The "boom" of the ordinary 2. 1 speaker subwoofer is almost inaudible on S2. 1M, with rational bass, moderate low-frequency clarity and mirror image connection, just right speed and elasticity, and can be freely put away. Although the bass of this product has some deliberate convergence, it is interesting that S2. 1M can exert unexpected power and is extremely exciting whenever there is a big dynamic protrusion. The author thinks that the rational and correct bass is much more lasting and pleasant to listen to than the impulsive bass.
