In the rising period of the company's development, which is more important, workshop workers or office workers?

Which is more important in the development of the company, workshop workers or office workers? Are office workers one level higher than workshop workers?

If you always look at problems with this "who is more important" thinking in enterprises, it is easy to have an unbalanced mentality. If workshop workers are not important, who will process products for the enterprise? If the office staff is not important, who will direct and coordinate?

An enterprise has different modules or functions, just like different organs of the human body. Do you think arms are more important or legs are more important? It seems that none of them can be separated!

Below, on this topic, I personally say my three views for reference only.

First, the importance of workshop workers in the development of enterprises In the workplace, many people will look down on workshop workers and think that they are low in education, uneducated and replaceable.

In fact, the products of enterprises are ultimately produced by workshop workers! For example, for a precision instrument, the production process machine is complex, and various parts need to be processed and assembled, so the production quality standard is very high, and there can be no deviation.

Therefore, how can the workers in charge of such instruments and equipment accomplish these tasks without skilled technology and excellent quality?

The dike of a thousand miles was destroyed by the ant nest, and the role of workshop workers can never be underestimated. Usually, small but critical defects in products come from front-line workers.

If you have worked in manufacturing industry, you will know that many large manufacturing enterprises have done a good job in training, educating and caring for workshop workers, because entrepreneurs know that these front-line workers are the guarantee of their product quality, and their development will be more promising if they perform well!

Second, the importance of office staff in enterprise development. The office staff referred to here is actually a wide range.

Employees of logistics functional departments, such as finance department, human resources department, office, etc., can be counted as office personnel, and managers sitting in offices in production departments can also be counted as office personnel.

They are often responsible for a specific non-business module and ultimately serve the company's business development.

In fact, the positioning of office workers is different from the perspective of different people. In the eyes of some front-line workers, office workers work easily, don't have to be as tired as themselves, earn more, and envy and hate are indispensable; In the eyes of executives in some enterprises, office staff do not directly output, especially logistics staff are very contemptuous, and feel that their work is worthless and dispensable.

This difference in perspective is realistic, mainly because they do not correctly view the responsibilities and roles of office staff.

Take our human resources position as an example. Personnel recruitment, salary distribution and performance appraisal, cultural construction, training, employee relations procedures, etc. all need HR.

The work of human resources also needs to be strategic partners of business departments including production departments in the company, and their job training, reserve backbone training and talent career planning all need the assistance of HR.

From this point of view, office workers are obviously valuable and their importance is self-evident.

Third, it is more important that no one speaks in the workshop and office. What is needed is to cooperate with each other to promote the development of enterprises! In my opinion, it is impossible for all sectors or departments of an enterprise to have internal friction with each other, and finally only a small group of estrangement and suspicion can be formed.

Production, sales and functions are all organic components of an enterprise, and they should cooperate with each other to form a joint force to promote the development of the enterprise.

I have done research in an excellent listed company before, and their sectors are all open. There is no question of who to compare with. We really want to compare, that is, the sales teams also compare their performance with each other. Although other plates have different functions, their hearts are the same. As long as there are problems, everyone will get together to discuss solutions, regardless of the gains and losses of each other's interests.

Therefore, the profit of this enterprise is increasing year by year, the scale of personnel is expanding, and the corporate culture is developing well, which has become the benchmark in the industry and everyone is learning.
