Sony's smart glasses? There should be no night vision.
A recently published patent application document shows that Sony's smart glasses project has reached the practical model stage. Unlike Google Glass, this product is equipped with a display for both eyes.
This is not Sony's first patent for smart glasses. A patent in the summer of 20 12 shows that this device is equipped with two lenses, each of which can be used as a display screen, and also has a built-in camera and battery. However, it is still in the conceptual design stage.
However, Sony's latest patent application documents show that this product has entered the practical model stage: the overall appearance is similar to that of Google Glass, which adopts the traditional frame glasses design and adds a pop-up display screen behind the lens.
According to the patent document, both displays will adopt 2D interface, but the contents on the displays are not disclosed. In addition, the screen position can be fine-tuned for the best experience.
