Patents filed after June 5438+ 10 in 2003 all adopt the pattern of 12- digit patent application number, the first four digits are the year of application, the fifth digit represents the patent type (1- invention, 2-utility model and 3- design), and the last seven digits are the patent acceptance number.

If the patent was filed before 10 in 2003, the patent number is only 8 digits, the first two digits indicate the year of application, the third digit indicates the patent type (1- invention, 2- utility model, 3- design), and the last five digits are the serial number.
