Changzhou University is a provincial full-time undergraduate college jointly established by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group Co., Ltd., China Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd. and China Offshore Oil Group Co., Ltd. It is a national demonstration university for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, a national pilot demonstration university for intellectual property rights, and a Chinese education base for the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.

As of April, 2002 1 year, since the 13th Five-Year Plan, our school has won the National Science and Technology Progress Award 1 item, the National Technological Invention Award 1 item, the China Patent Silver Award 1 item, the National Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award1item, and 97 provincial, ministerial and industrial scientific research achievement awards.
