What fields can't be patented?

Article 5 of China's Patent Law stipulates that no patent right shall be granted for inventions and creations that violate national laws, social morality or harm public interests. At the same time, due to social morality, public interest, ethics and other considerations, China has reserved restrictions on some specific topics in the field of biotechnology, excluding the patentability of some life materials or methods that may endanger human ethics and dignity, and explicitly excluding the following topics from the protection scope of patent law by enumerating: methods of cloning human beings and cloning human beings; Methods to change the genetic characteristics of human reproductive system; Using human embryos for industrial or commercial purposes; A method for changing the genetic characteristics of animals, which may cause pain to animals, but has no substantial benefit to medical treatment of humans or animals, and animals obtained by this method.
