First, the content introduction
The project research has found out the mineral composition of ore and the relationship between minerals, especially the changing law of gangue mineral aggregate. The mineral processing technology makes full use of the characteristics of coarse primary particle size of andalusite, which is obviously larger than gangue minerals such as Yingshi and mica, and the embedding degree between andalusite and gangue minerals is far less than that between gangue minerals. A new technology of direct crushing and classification of "aggregate" tailings and raw ore below coarse particle size is put forward. The test determined that the -5 mm+0.5 mm grade adopts gravity separation dry magnetic separation process, the -0.5mm grade adopts gravity separation tailings-wet magnetic separation-gravity separation-dry high intensity magnetic separation process, and the middling adopts crushing-classification-dry magnetic separation process. The excellent technical indexes of andalusite concentrate grade of 9.6 1%, Al2O3 grade of 57.03%, andalusite mineral content of 95.69% and recovery rate of 69.73% were obtained by the expansion test. The process is simple and reliable. This process solves the technical problem of mineral processing and purification of coarse-grained andalusite, and belongs to an innovative process. 5 ~ 0.5 mm coarse-grained andalusite products fill the blank of coarse-grained andalusite aggregate in China.
Second, popularization and application
According to the research results of this project, a mining investment company in Bamou, Xinjiang, began to design a factory in early 2002. In June 2004, a concentrator with an annual output of 5× 104t andalusite concentrate (1600 t/d raw ore) was built. The completion and commissioning of the plant will not only provide high-quality andalusite products for China's refractory industry, but also make the cost and price of its products compete in the international market. The successful application of this technology can effectively promote regional economic development and improve the rational utilization level and market competitiveness of this kind of non-metallic mineral resources.
