(1) Disinfection and sterilization of containers

After disinfection, the alcohol will be released, but there will still be alcohol residue at the roundabout and the joint of the instrument valve. To remove these residual alcohol, blow it with nitrogen until it is dried. The consumption of alcohol is large, the disinfection time is long, and the operation process is complicated. The same problem exists with high-pressure steam, which is very laborious.
Now ozone disinfection technology is used instead, which is relatively much easier. The specific method is that high-concentration ozone is directly pumped into the pipeline container, and the requirements of disinfection and sterilization can be achieved by keeping the ozone tail gas at a certain concentration. Because the inner surface of the pipeline container is disinfected, the ozone concentration should be controlled higher, and the general design concentration is greater than 5ppm.

(II) Disinfection and sterilization of clean areas by central air-conditioning purification system
In pharmaceutical factories, generally speaking, clean areas are large, and most of them are cleaned and disinfected by central air-conditioning purification systems. The traditional disinfection method is fumigation with chemical reagents such as formaldehyde. As we all know, formaldehyde fumigation has many disadvantages, and ozone disinfection is a good method to replace it. The method is to put the ozone generator directly in the air duct of the air conditioning purification system, which is called the built-in ozone generator. With the air flow in the air duct, ozone is sent to each clean area for disinfection and sterilization, and the remaining ozone is sucked into the air return port and taken away by the central air conditioner. You can also put the ozone generator outside the air outlet of the central air conditioner, pump ozone into the air duct of the central air conditioner, and then send it to each clean room, which is called external ozone generator. The external ozone generator is easy to install and repair, but the manufacturing cost is higher. Both methods have the same disinfection effect. According to the technical specification for disinfection of the Ministry of Health, the ozone concentration for air disinfection is 5ppm, but in fact, the disinfection of clean areas is not only the disinfection of air, but also the disinfection of the surface of objects, so the design concentration should generally be greater than 1ppm. Turn on the machine for 1-2 hours before going to work and 1 hour after work every day, so that the planktonic bacteria and settling bacteria in the clean area can meet the GMP requirements within one day.

(3) Disinfection and sterilization of space
Clean rooms outside the central air conditioning purification system or other rooms that need to be sterilized need to be sterilized separately. The method is to choose an ozone generator and install it directly in the room. Set the disinfection time according to the need, and automatically shut down after disinfection, so it is very convenient to use. Select and use according to the size of room space volume. As long as the requirements of ozone concentration are met, the purpose of disinfection and sterilization can be achieved. Compared with the fumigation of rooms with chemical reagents, it saves much trouble and can completely replace chemical fumigation, shorten disinfection time and avoid secondary pollution.

In the process of drug production, raw materials, tools and equipment, packaging materials, production sites, etc. are often disinfected.
