The dry powder fire extinguisher is equipped with ammonium phosphate dry powder fire extinguishing agent. Dry powder fire extinguishing agent is a kind of dry and easy-flowing fine powder used for fire extinguishing, which is composed of inorganic salts and a small amount of additives. It is dried, crushed and mixed into fine solid powder. It is a kind of fire extinguishing agent widely used in fire fighting, mainly used for fire extinguishers. Dry powder fire extinguishing agents are generally divided into BC dry powder fire extinguishing agents (sodium bicarbonate) and ABC dry powder (ammonium phosphate) except for dry powder chemical fire extinguishing agents specially used for metal fire extinguishing. First, the volatile decomposition products of inorganic salts in dry powder react with free radicals or active groups generated in the combustion process of fuel for chemical inhibition and secondary catalysis, so that the chain reaction of combustion is interrupted and the fire is extinguished; Second, the powder of dry powder falls outside the surface of combustible substances, and chemical reaction occurs under the action of high temperature, forming a glassy coating, thus isolating oxygen and suffocating and extinguishing fire. In addition, there are some oxygen dilution and cooling effects. Classification: dry powder fire extinguishers can be divided into ABC and BC. That is, portable dry powder fire extinguishers and cart dry powder fire extinguishers carry dry powder fire extinguishers for two seconds, and dry powder will be sprayed out to extinguish the fire. Can put out general fires, but also can put out fires caused by burning oil and gas. Structure diagram of dry powder fire extinguisher
The dry powder fire extinguisher is powered by carbon dioxide gas or nitrogen gas, and the dry powder in the spray tube is used to extinguish the fire. Dry powder is a kind of dry, easy-flowing fine solid powder, which consists of fire extinguishing base material, moisture-proof agent, flow promoter, anti-caking agent and other additives. It is mainly used to extinguish the initial fire of flammable liquids such as oil and organic solvents, flammable gases and electrical equipment. Dry powder fire extinguishers can be divided into hand-held, backpack-mounted and cart-mounted. When using an external portable fire extinguisher, hold the nozzle with one hand and lift the bail with the other hand, and dry powder can be sprayed. When using a cart fire extinguisher, the rear of the cart fire extinguisher should face the fire source (it should be placed in the upwind direction outdoors). First remove the spray gun, unfold the powder tube (remember not to be twisted), and then lift the air intake rod to make carbon dioxide enter the storage tank. When the gauge pressure rises to 0. 7 MPa ~ 1 MPa, put down the intake rod to stop air intake. At this time, turn on the switch and spray dry powder to extinguish the fire from near to far. For example, when fighting an oil fire, don't let the dry powder airflow directly impact the oil stain, so as to avoid splashing the oil surface and spreading the fire. When using a backpack fire extinguisher, you should stand 5 ~ 6 meters away from the edge of the flame, hold the handle of the dry powder gun with your right hand (if it is powered by nitrogen, you can only hold the wooden handle, otherwise it may be frostbitten by low-temperature gas), turn the switch to the "3" position with your left hand (the spraying sequence is 3, 2, 1), turn on the safety machine, aim the spray gun at the fire source, and pull the trigger to spray dry powder. If you can put out the fire by spraying a bottle of dry powder, you can turn the switch to the position of No.2 or 1 and continue spraying until the fire is sprayed out. Note: Dry powder fire extinguishers cannot effectively extinguish the fire in lithium-ion battery warehouse. When the fire is serious, it is more difficult to put out the fire. Dry powder fire extinguishers can be filled in various types of portable and fixed dry powder fire extinguishers, and used together with fluoroprotein foam fire extinguishing agent and water-based foam fire extinguishing agent to extinguish the initial fire of oil tanks, which can quickly control the flame development and play a role in rapid fire extinguishing. Dry powder fire extinguishers are widely used in oil fields, oil depots, refineries, chemical plants, chemical warehouses, ships, airports and industrial and mining enterprises.
Application mode
The most common opening method of dry powder fire extinguisher is to press the handle. Lift the fire extinguisher to a proper position far away from the fire source, turn it up and down several times to loosen the dry powder in the barrel, then aim the nozzle at the place where the fire burns most violently, remove the safety pin and press the knob, and the fire extinguishing agent will be sprayed out to extinguish the fire. When opening the dry powder fire extinguisher, hold the middle part with your left hand, aim the nozzle at the root of the flame, pull out the safety card with your right hand, turn the opening knob and open the gas cylinder. After a delay of l-4 seconds, dry powder will be sprayed to extinguish the fire.
