(1) Treating the construction surface: firstly, dry the construction surface with a brush or cloth, and then wipe it with a wet cloth soaked in the solution.
(2) Paper tape: In order not to pollute the left and right surfaces of the joint when applying primer and squeezing sealant, the paper tape must be pasted and torn off after the construction.
(3) Primer: Apply primer to the adhered surface with a brush to increase the adhesion between sealant and building materials.
(4) Fillet: When the sealant is squeezed into the gap, it should only stick to both sides of the joint. If the sealant adheres to both sides and the bottom surface at the same time, the sealant and the bottom surface cannot move freely, which will lead to the adhesion of the sealant to both sides or the destruction of the sealant itself. Therefore, when using sealant, a circular polyethylene foam strip with a width of 1-2mm must be embedded at the bottom of the joint.
(5) Filling sealant: aim the front end of the sealant pipe at the joint, cut off the pipe head with a cutter according to the size of the joint, and squeeze the sealant with an extrusion gun to completely fill all parts of the joint and corner. Be careful not to mix bubbles. Use them as soon as you open them.
(6) Seam closing: After seam filling, use spatula and scraper to press the sealant into the seam. If the construction tools are soaked with soapy water, the construction surface will be more beautiful. Tear off the paper tape when finished.
