What is the working principle of carbon dioxide cracking?

Carbon dioxide fracturing device uses liquid carbon dioxide to gasify and expand when heated, and quickly releases high-pressure gas to crush rocks or coal, which overcomes the shortcomings of previous explosive blasting mining, crushing ore bodies with great destructive and high presplitting risk, provides a solid guarantee for safe mining and presplitting of mines, and is generally suitable for coal mine and non-coal mine operations.

principle of operation

Carbon dioxide exists in liquid form below 3 1℃ or above 7.23MPa, but it begins to vaporize when it exceeds 3 1℃, and the pressure constantly changes with the change of temperature. According to the characteristics of carbon dioxide, liquid carbon dioxide is filled into the main pipe of the detonator, and the heating device is quickly stirred by the detonator. Liquid carbon dioxide instantly gasifies and contracts to generate high pressure, and its volume is reduced by more than 600 times. When the pressure reaches the ultimate strength (settable pressure) of the bursting disc, the constant pressure shear disc ruptures, and high-pressure gas is released from the relief head to act on the medium (rock), thus achieving the purpose of blasting. The fracturing device adopts the existing connecting rod, which can complete multi-point simultaneous directional blasting to break rocks.
