1. Find the position of the T alignment mark on the magnetoelectric machine.
2. The intake cam and the exhaust cam are in a symmetrical valve closed state.
There is a special tool to light the timing light. Open the inspection hole of the magneto, connect the timing lamp wire, and illuminate the inspection hole with the lamp. When the light is on, the scribe line of the magneto just passes through the inspection hole.
