1. Different working principles
The light-emitting principle of LCD can be simply described as: the bottom of the screen is a white light-emitting board, and white light displays various colors through the upper color filter (liquid crystal layer). The light-emitting principle of the organic light-emitting diode screen is that there are three kinds of organic light-emitting diodes in the screen, which emit light by themselves, and the three-color combination displays various colors.
2. The black depth is different
MOLED screen is self-luminous by each pixel, which determines that it can display pure black (that is, the pixels in the black area do not emit light), while the black displayed on LCD screen is dark gray after the white backlight is filtered by "filter".
3. The color gamut is different. Relatively speaking, MOLED has a wider color gamut than LCD and can display more accurate colors.
4. The energy consumption is different. Because of the self-luminous characteristics of MOLED, it can reduce a lot of energy consumption, so the energy consumption of LCD is relatively higher than MOLED.
