According to different irrigation water management methods, rice seedlings can be divided into three methods, namely water seedlings, wet seedlings and dry seedlings.
Water nursery: Use water to prepare the soil and make a bed, and bring water for sowing. In addition to preventing and controlling cotton rot, bad seeds and seedlings, and taking root in the open field, a water layer is always established during the whole process of nursery.
Moist seedling cultivation: Use water to prepare the soil and use water to make the bed wet sowing. After emergence, according to the degree of water shortage in the seedling field, intermittent irrigation will be carried out, mainly wet.
Dry nursery: Dry soil preparation, dry farming bed dry sowing, artificial watering and replenishment. No water layer is established during the entire seedling raising process. In the later stage of the seedling field, furrow irrigation can be used to moisten the seedlings, or horse water can be irrigated as appropriate.
According to different seedling raising methods, there are bare ground seedling raising and plastic film insulation seedling raising. Due to different cultivation methods and regions, there are plastic greenhouses, middle sheds and tunnel-type arch sheds for seedlings or tile seedlings. Depending on the sowing underlay, there are soil-less seedlings and soil-based seedlings, and there are open-field seedlings and isolation layer seedlings (floppy disks, bowls, porous mulch and other materials). There are dry fields, garden fields, courtyards, raised terraces and Honda seedlings. Depending on the insulation materials, there are seedling raising methods such as plastic film with holes, non-porous film covering, non-woven covering and double layer covering of mulch. There are wide bed, narrow bed nursery and open and closed upper ventilation and lower ventilation and other nursery methods. The specific method should be adapted to local conditions and used according to the actual situation.
