Can I apply for the patent agent qualification examination with my undergraduate certificate?

A patent agent must have a technical background, have studied law, pass the patent agent qualification examination, and practice for one year before practicing.

You don't have to be a major in science and engineering, but agronomy and medicine can also be used.

Because the patent industry is the intersection of technology and law, only one aspect of knowledge can't be done well, so there is such a regulation.

China citizens who support the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and meet the following conditions may sign up for the national patent agent qualification examination:

(1) eighteen years old or above, with full capacity for civil conduct;

(2) Graduated from a science and engineering major in an institution of higher learning or equivalent;

(3) Familiar with patent law and related legal knowledge;

(4) Engaged in scientific and technical work or legal work for more than two years.

Graduation of science and engineering majors in colleges and universities refers to obtaining a college degree or above recognized by the state and obtaining a diploma.

The following application materials need to be submitted:

(1)2009 National Patent Agent Qualification Examination Registration Form;

(2) The original and photocopy of my valid ID card (resident ID card, military officer's card, passport, permanent resident ID card);

(3) the original and photocopy of the academic certificate;
