How to develop between individuals and platforms?

I remember that I have written about the relationship between "individuals and platforms" before. After some time, I gained more experiences and gained new understanding.

Most of what we do is not done alone, and we cannot be a lone hero; we all need to cooperate with others, or rely on an organizational platform. Either you can play freely on the platform you create, or you can spread your wings and fly high on the platform of others; no matter which platform you are on, you must continue to grow, experience, create, cooperate, and collide, and constantly solve one difficulty after another to achieve One personal or common goal after another.

What is the goal? In the short term, it must be to survive, accumulate work skills, social experience, and build network resources. The long-term goal is to grow together with this platform and realize self-worth and even social value. But as people’s work experience continues to increase, their age and seniority also increase, and they have achieved initial goals and staged goals. What is the final goal? Should I lead the organization and the platform one day, or should I turn around and leave to find a broader platform? Of course, the answer is different for everyone, and it shouldn't be the same. However, in today’s turbulent world, where black swans and gray rhinos are all rushing towards us, it is becoming increasingly difficult to stay permanently with a platform.

Most of them have entered the large and small enterprises in society. There are many platforms, big and small, strong and weak. Except for some super large platforms and state-owned platforms, the average survival time of Chinese companies is 3-5 years; so for most of us, it is not surprising that we often change platforms. Even if you stay on those super big platforms for a long time, what kind of role will you play? Size or strength? Some people develop slowly and cannot keep up with the rapid development and iteration of the platform; some people develop rapidly, but are hindered by the conservative forces of the platform. What should they do?

Of course, people with great abilities and lots of ideas are willing to create a platform themselves; however, in today's society, the risks of starting a business are becoming more and more intensified, and the costs are getting higher and higher. In addition, as business continues to develop, there are more and more free platforms; people with specific skills can not rely on a fixed platform, but go wherever there is demand and cooperation.

In China, freelancers include three types of people:

The first type is small businessmen, such as individual retail stores, snack bars, printing shops, decoration company owners, etc.

The second category is salesmen without basic salary, such as life insurance consultants, real estate agents, advertising agencies, direct sellers, etc.

The third category is professionals, such as photographers, patent agents, lawyers, accountants, dentists, technical consultants, management consultants, plumbers, electricians, barbers, artists, etc.

The fourth category is emerging professions, such as various popular Internet celebrity anchors, live broadcasters, video experts, etc. There will definitely be more freelancers in the future, source The division of labor in society is becoming more and more detailed.

Freelancers refer to individuals who have legitimate income without having a legally binding relationship with the system or investors. For the new generation of contemporary urban people, most of them are literary and artistic personnel, such as freelance writers. Writers, artists, musicians, computer elites, planners, etc.; or emerging positions.

Of course, with the development of society, the relaxation of the system, and the advancement of technology, freelancers are also expanding into other fields. Some researchers pointed out that doctors, lawyers, etc. will become the largest group of freelancers.

Freelancers are somewhere between completely relying on a platform and creating a platform. They save the cost of creating a platform and avoid various risks, and they will not be rigidly fixed in a position fixed by the platform. Can't help myself. With a lot of flexibility, of course there is also a little turmoil; but if stability without turbulence means stagnation, wouldn't it be more dangerous?

What should be the relationship between individuals and platforms? Or what will it develop into in the future? Individuals are attached to the platform, and the platform is greater than the individual; as society continues to develop, the relationship between individuals and platforms will become more and more flexible and no longer limited.

Ultimately, the ultimate goal is to realize human value, and freedom!

People in the industrial age are more like machines. In order to work, they are dedicated to or enslaved in various large and small platforms; we are squeezed out of time, freedom, body and mind, euphemistically called for happiness. Life, but without time, freedom, body and mind, how can there be a happy life? Survival and development, struggle and creation are all necessary, but it does not mean that people should be yoked one by one.

How do you think individuals and platforms will develop in the future? Read more and you will understand things; practice more and gain knowledge; accumulate more and know how to advance and retreat. ***Mian!
