The production lineup of the album spans across the Taiwan Strait and three places. Zhang Yadong produced two songs for Joey Yung, and Yao Qian, Li Zhuoxiong, Chen Zhenchuan, Wu Jiahui and others wrote lyrics for the album[3 ].
The title song "Little" of the same name was composed by Jay Chou. This collaboration was arranged by the record company. Joey Yung did not know about it in advance. It was only after receiving the song that she learned that Jay Chou composed the music and Fang Wenshan wrote the lyrics. Jay Chou liked this piece very much and regretted it many times, wanting to keep it for his own album[4]. This song is also Joey Yung's first Chinese-style song. When recording the song, Joey Yung was very worried that she would not be able to sing the charm, so she was very cautious[5].
In order to fit in with the innocent concept of "Little", in the cover, Joey Yung put on light makeup, white eye shadow and all-white clothes, deliberately creating a painting-like feeling[2].

The entire album does not clearly express the record company Emperor Entertainment's positioning of Joey Yung. The album is all original and basically abandons dance music, but this is just the record company's desire to cater to the market and show its eagerness for quick success [7].

The two songs that open the album, "Dawn Phoenix Butterfly" and "Little", have a Chinese style. The artistic conception of the songs is completely different from the blurred image of Joey Yung on the album cover. And, Joey Yung’s substandard pronunciation of words also seemed very abrupt. Despite their shortcomings, these two songs are still the highlights of the album, showing a different Joey Yung from the past[7].
The lyrics of the song "How to Go" are very delicate and the style is psychedelic[8]. "By Your Side" is a standard love song, its style is completely different from the first two songs, and it also forms a watershed in the album. The subsequent songs are like a box of colorful chocolates, each one has a different taste, Ramp; B. Jazz, waltz and other genres are presented one by one. All the songs are not unpleasant to listen to, but they lack an unforgettable melody[7].
Due to pronunciation constraints, Joey Yung’s singing performance was not as good as the Cantonese album. The album was produced in a very short time, and Joey Yung's singing and album production standards were not at a good level, making the album look "tasteless" [7].
