How to distinguish the car film?

Master film pasting professional film pasting master teaches six tricks to identify film pasting skills.

Car film is a high-tech product. It is difficult for ordinary consumers to understand deeply, so they also know how to distinguish good from bad. When consuming car film, they only listen to the recommendation of the film shop staff.

Experts in the industry told us that to avoid choosing inferior film, consumers need to do some simple identification when choosing car film, and six measures to identify film can be easily obtained from the following six aspects:

(1) feel:

The inferior film is based on ordinary polyester film. Because of its loose internal structure, easy dyeing, low strength, inelastic, lack of toughness, no texture and easy wrinkling, it meets the basic requirements of safety and anti-theft of automobile film. High-quality film adopts optical polyester film, mostly in color, with thick and smooth feel, dense structure, high strength, high safety and excellent anti-theft performance.

(2) clarity:

There are many dyed films or aluminized films of inferior quality. The above-mentioned common substrate basically reaches the optical level, and the heat absorber, dye or high reflection can realize the function of heat insulation or shading. The chemical dyes or aluminized components of the film greatly affect the clarity and perspective of the film. The dark film has poor sight in rainy days or at night, which affects driving safety. High-quality films are made of optical-grade high-quality substrates and produced by magnetron sputtering process. The atomic structure is denser and finer, and the transparency and permeability are higher.

(3) Smell:

Inferior film usually uses inferior glue, which contains a lot of benzene and formaldehyde molecules, which will volatilize in the sun and produce a strong pungent smell, and the inferior glue has low cost and wide application. PSA glue is used for high-quality membrane, which is colorless and tasteless, and the cost is several times higher than that of inferior membrane. It is mainly used in a few industries such as food and medicine. Inferior film usually adopts dyeing process, so it contains a lot of chemical pigments. Some colorful car stickers will undergo chemical decomposition under sunlight, thus releasing toxic chemicals, seriously polluting the air inside the car and affecting the health of drivers and passengers.

(4) color:

The dyeing process of inferior film is similar to that of cloth dyeing, so some pigments will be adsorbed on the surface of the film. Only the color uniformity and stability are poor, the color difference is serious, and it is easier to fade and blur. High-quality films are made by magnetron sputtering process, and precious and rare metal atoms such as gold, silver, nickel and titanium are adsorbed by strong magnetic field. Only the color is uniform, the space is more metallic, the visual clarity is high and the permeability is excellent. Very suitable for automobile glass.

(5) Scratch prevention:

There is no scratch-proof layer on the surface of inferior film. Scratches are easy to occur when lifting the window or wiping it by hand. Wipe gently with alcohol and gasoline 1 min. Poor quality film will change color. High-quality membrane surface has a professional scratch-resistant layer. There is a patented DUROGARD scratch-resistant layer on the surface of the canopy film, but it is more scratch-resistant and easy to scratch. Wiping with alcohol and gasoline will also change color.

(6) Technical parameters:

At present, visible light transmittance, visible light reflectivity, thermal insulation and ultraviolet blocking rate are commonly used performance indexes of automobile film. According to the optical principle, the basic relationship between the first three indexes is: the higher the light transmittance, the lower the heat insulation rate; The higher the reflectivity, the higher the thermal insulation rate, and the high reflectivity will bring great hidden dangers to the safety of riding. Therefore, the three requirements of high light transmittance, high heat insulation and low reflectivity are very high in today's automotive film technology. Car owners must weigh and compare when choosing car films. They can choose highly reflective car film just for high heat insulation.
