Principle of quartz tube heater

The quartz tube heater uses a specially processed opalescent quartz glass tube and a resistance alloy material as the heating element. The opalescent quartz glass can absorb almost all visible light and near-field radiation radiated from the electric heating wire. Infrared light can be converted into far-infrared radiation.

However, the current industrial infrared heating tubes have basically eliminated the milky white quartz tubes. Because the material is relatively brittle, it cannot form a long milky white heating tube. And the milky white color has a light-shielding effect, blocking its heat. Because of its high tube wall temperature, it is only suitable for near-infrared heating.

Technical features:

1. No far-infrared coating is required, the spectral radiation matching and absorption characteristics are good, the radiation performance will not degrade after long-term use, and the electrothermal conversion efficiency is high.

2. High operating temperature and wide selection range. Among them, the type encapsulated with a ceramic cap has a maximum temperature resistance of 800 degrees Celsius.

3. Fast heating, small thermal inertia, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, good thermochemical stability, long service life and high insulation strength.

4. It is pollution-free and is a clean heater that meets the high-tempo and high-quality requirements of modern production and is suitable for household appliances with high hygiene requirements.

5. The design, manufacturing and installation are very convenient, economical and safe.
