Steam-assisted injection molding, also known as thermal variable temperature seamless injection molding technology, is a new type of auxiliary molding technology. Its principle is to make some local parts of the mold reach a fairly high temperature instantly, so as to ensure that the mold cavity can be filled quickly when the temperature difference between the molding material and the plastic mold is very small, and the steam can be turned into cold water while the molding material is cooled, so as to quickly reduce the mold temperature and obtain extremely high surface quality effect in some parts of the product.

The specific implementation process is as follows: make a uniform heating channel on the mold, blow high-temperature steam after the injection molding machine closes the mold (it can be heated when the mold is opened in special circumstances), first raise the mold temperature to the heating set value, then start injecting plastic into the mold cavity, start injecting cold water after the injection molding machine stops injecting glue/maintaining pressure, then open the mold after the mold temperature rapidly drops to the cooling set value, and then blow into the mold to completely blow away the cold water, thus completing the whole injection process.
