Zhao Xiujian's Research Achievements

Professor Zhao Xiujian is mainly engaged in basic scientific research on glass amorphous materials, functional building glass, photoelectric glass and infrared optical fiber, and has successively developed infrared polarized glass, CO2 laser transmission hollow fiber and self-cleaning glass with independent intellectual property rights. He presided over more than 30 scientific research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level, 4 international cooperation projects and many horizontal scientific and technological development projects. He has published more than 260 research papers in academic journals at home and abroad. Among them, SCI included 1 10 articles; EI collected 120 articles. This paper has been cited more than 600 times. Among them, SCI cited more than 500 times. Three books have been published. He applied for and obtained 23 invention patents and 9 utility model patents.

Professor Zhao Xiujian won the Gottardi Prize, an academic award of the International Glass Association, on 1998. Only 1 person won the prize in each session, and the Chinese won this honor for the first time. It also won 8 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards, including 2 first prizes of Hubei Natural Science Award (ranked first), 2 second prizes of Hubei Science and Technology Progress Award/KLOC-0 (ranked first), 2 second prizes of Hubei Science and Technology Achievement Promotion Award/KLOC-0 (ranked fifth), 3 rd prizes of Science and Technology Progress Award (basic category)/KLOC-0 of Ministry of Education, and ministerial-level prize of building materials industry. Won the first youth science and technology award of China Silicate Society.
