Even in 20 14, Teng Hongyuan was surprised when he received the grand prize from the European Patent Office, thinking that "the life of QR code is the longest 10 year".
Today, the official website of QR code.com is still operated by Denso Wave, which has four language versions: Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean. According to the website, Denso Wave still has a charging service to help corporate customers customize the QR code, but there is no patent fee for the QR code technology used by ordinary people for daily code scanning.
