In 2004, the National Hybrid Rice Engineering and Technology Research Center, led by Academician Yuan Longping, took Xianhui 207 as the recipient, and successfully cultivated a high-quality restorer line RB207 with big panicle and big grain by introducing the genome DNA of barnyard grass. In September this year, Hunan Super Rice Office and Hunan Seed Management Station organized experts to conduct on-the-spot evaluation, yield measurement and acceptance of 1.8 mu and 56 mu of hybrid combinations "T98A/RB207" and "GD- 1S/RB207" cultivated by National Hybrid Rice Engineering and Technology Research Center in Jin Shiqiao Township, Longhui County. The results showed that the yield per mu of these two combinations reached 902.
