How is bronchial asthma caused?

Bronchial asthma, referred to as asthma, is a chronic inflammatory disease of airway, which can cause mild respiratory obstruction and irreversible airway stenosis. People with this disease often have recurrent symptoms of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness or cough. Most patients attack or worsen at night or in the early hours of the morning, and the disease can sometimes be relieved by itself or improved by effective treatment.

The etiology of bronchial asthma mainly includes the following two points:

1, genetic factors: the prevalence rate of relatives of patients with bronchial asthma is higher than that of the general population, and the closer the relatives are, the more serious the illness is, and the higher the prevalence rate of relatives is. In other words, if one or both of your parents are patients with bronchial asthma, your chances of suffering from bronchial asthma will be much higher than other normal families.

2, external environmental factors Many people's bronchial asthma in addition to their own physical factors, mainly including the body stimulated by the external environment. For example, some people are allergic and have a strong allergic reaction to something. These allergens often include pollen, dust, fish, shrimp, crab, eggs, milk and other substances. When these allergic people are exposed to these allergens, they are likely to induce bronchial asthma.

The environmental factors mentioned here also include weather and temperature changes and sports factors. For example, some people will have bronchial asthma when the temperature drops suddenly or when they exercise vigorously.

Generally speaking, bronchial asthma is a common disease, the prevalence rate of children is higher than that of young adults, urban is higher than that of rural areas, and the incidence rate of the elderly is also increasing. Because bronchial asthma has obvious genetic tendency, this is also a fact that we can't change. But as long as we try to avoid the environmental factors that cause bronchial asthma and enhance the body's resistance, the disease will be effectively alleviated to a great extent.
