Nanjing Xianlin Internet of Things Industrial Base is located in Xianlin-Maqun plate in Qixia District, which is the most densely populated area of smart industry in our city. At present, 23 Internet of Things enterprises have settled in, covering communication chips, sensor network node equipment, RFID &; Sensors, system integration, software &; Platform and other fields, among which, Sanbao Technology Group alone owns 25 patented technologies related to the Internet of Things and 19 software copyrights, and presided over the formulation of 6 industry standards and specifications, covering RFID, intelligent transportation, customs logistics, medical supervision and other fields. It is reported that the existing 23 IOT enterprises in the base can achieve an output value of 2.69 billion yuan this year. It is estimated that by 212, the output value of the IOT industry in the base will exceed 1 billion yuan.
Qixia District will regard the Internet of Things industry as an important pillar to promote regional transformation and development, innovation and leapfrog development due to its rich scientific and educational resources and the foundation of the Internet of Things industry. The main person in charge of the district committee said that the base will actively promote the construction of IOT industrial clusters, relying on R&D institutions such as Nanjing University Micro-Nano Sensing Technology Research Center, Nanjing University IoT Technology Demonstration and Network Engineering Center, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications IoT and Sensor Network Research Institute, and Nanjing Normal University GIS Research Center, and make the base a core area and a pilot area for the development of IOT industry in our city.
