Is there a patent right for commissioned inventions?

According to the Patent Law, unless otherwise agreed, the right to apply for a patent for an invention-creation commissioned by another unit or individual belongs to the completing unit or individual. After the application is approved, the applicant unit or individual shall be the patentee. In other words, if the entrusting party and the entrusted party have signed relevant contracts before, the patent application right shall be determined in accordance with the relevant provisions of the contract. Where there is no prior agreement on the patent right, the right to apply for a patent belongs to the party who has completed the invention-creation.
