Why can India copy drugs and other countries can't?

Don't listen to any messy answers. The real reason is the WTO rules. At the beginning, the main issue in China's WTO accession negotiations was not whether it was allowed to join, but whether it was a developed country or a developing country. As a developing country, there will be various preferences, tariffs and patents. Finally, although China joined as a developing country, many industries have certain tariff protection, but some industries entered as developed countries, such as medicine. We must abide by the patents of various countries. Unauthorized generic drugs violate WTO regulations and will be punished accordingly. For the world factory that has benefited the most from the WTO framework, it is obviously impossible for China to violate the WTO rules, while India was a developing country at the beginning. If it does not comply with the medical patent, the World Trade Organization will not approve it. As for other so-called developing countries, they are actually underdeveloped countries and basically have no ability to study generic drugs.
