Received a drift bottle ~ ~ ask me what BPC means?
BPC is commonly known as "radio clock", low-frequency time code, a low-cost time calibration system and low-frequency time code timing technology. The format of China is BPC. ITU has always recommended low-frequency time code timing technology. It works in low frequency band and can provide standard time and frequency signals in both analog and digital modes. Due to the full use of microelectronics technology, user equipment can be made very simple and cheap, so it has been widely used in many fields. For example, large-scale applications in low-precision military, power grid synchronization, communication network synchronization, financial and securities system, electronic politics (business), watch industry and many other fields become possible. In the traditional watch industry, the application of time code technology has brought what the industry calls a "revolutionary" impact on timekeeping. "Its appearance has opened up a new milestone in time measurement, which will have a great impact on the development of the world economy" (from the report of China Watch Association to state leaders). There are also many possible applications in national defense construction and national security. For example, an integrated information system and command system of our army, this technology is very suitable. Internationally, following Germany's successful development and wide application of this technology, the United States and Japan also re-attach importance to low-frequency time code technology. The U.S. government made a three-stage upgrade plan to update the original WWVB radio equipment, and the radiation power increased from 13KW to 25KW and then to 50KW. Japan scrapped the original JG2AS radio station, re-purchased American equipment, and built two new high-power radio stations in the northeast of Tokyo and Kyushu, among which the directional map of Kyushu Station is obviously aimed at China. The latest proposal of the International Telecommunication Union also shows that the research and development of low-frequency time code related technologies will be the research focus of all countries in 3 ~ 5 years. The National Time Service Center has been tracking this technology since 1993. After years of hard work, the project of "low frequency timing expansion and application industrialization" carried out in cooperation with enterprises has made decisive progress. A practical test-bed was built in the time service center, and the call sign "BPC" was successfully broadcast with the frequency of 68.5KHz approved by the State Committee. Important breakthroughs have been made in systematic research. The efficiency of the coding and decoding method we studied is three times that of similar signals abroad. Phase control technology has an important innovation in solving the problem of spectrum utilization. Collaborative enterprises have successfully developed high-power all-solid-state long-wave transmitters, and the leading products of major collaborative enterprises have been included in the Spark Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2002. Many products have passed the appraisal, applied for many patents and formed many independent intellectual property rights. In 2003, it successfully cooperated with enterprises to launch the first China standard radio clock in China, which caused great repercussions in the domestic watch industry and was reported by many domestic media. It is no longer a dream to let the "atomic timetable" enter the homes of ordinary people. At present, the industrialization plan is progressing smoothly and the products are being pushed to the market one after another. The test-bed has become an important extension and supplement of the national time service system, and has begun to play a role. At present, the BPC signal is broadcast continuously, broadcasting 2 1 hour every day, and stopping for maintenance from 5: 00 to 8: 00. The transmission power is 90kW and the carrier frequency is 68.6KHz.
