Eight-stroke engine

ApplicationNo./PatentNo.: 2008 10007 18

An eight-stroke engine belongs to the technical field of engines. The engine has a working cylinder (1) that does work through combustion, which is called combustion cylinder; And a working cylinder (2) which does work through steam expansion and is called a steam cylinder; The combustion cylinder (1) is connected with the steam cylinder (2) through an air channel (5), and the steam cylinder (2) is provided with a water sprayer (3); In the combustion cylinder (1), after the air passes through four strokes of "air intake-compression-combustion expansion work-exhaust", the generated high-temperature gas enters the steam cylinder (2) through the gas channel (5), and then passes through four strokes of "air intake-compression water spraying-steam expansion work-exhaust" and eight strokes. The air channel (5) has a pressure stabilizing cavity structure. Eight-stroke engines can make full use of exhaust heat energy, mainly including in-line eight-stroke engines and V-type eight-stroke engines. The invention can make full use of fuel gas energy to achieve better energy-saving effect.
