First of all, there are certain restrictions on the qualifications of patent agents in the examination. Not all majors can take the exam. Only those who have a college degree or above in science and engineering and have been engaged in scientific and technological work or legal work for more than two years are eligible to take the exam, that is, fresh graduates are not eligible to take the exam. There are three courses in the patent agent examination, namely Patent Law (full mark 150, 100 multiple-choice questions), related methods in Volume II (full mark 100, 100 multiple-choice questions) and Practice in Volume III (full mark 150, multiple-choice questions) ). The patent agency exam also takes the law exam, but the content and form of the exam are very different from the judicial exam. I passed more than 400 points in the judicial examination (360 points in the national line) at one time, and failed the patent agency examination without careful preparation.
registration requirement
China citizens who support the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and meet the following conditions may sign up for the national patent agent qualification examination:
1. 1.8 years old, with full capacity for civil conduct;
2. University degree in science and engineering or equivalent;
3. Familiar with patent law and related legal knowledge;

Graduation of science and engineering majors in colleges and universities refers to obtaining a college degree or above recognized by the state and obtaining a diploma or degree certificate.
If you have a degree in science and engineering, graduated for two years, and are preparing for the proxy exam, I suggest you go to the Sibo Patent Forum, where there is a lot of exchange of experience in preparing for the exam.
