There is the Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory for Marine Environmental Monitoring, which consists of four laboratories, namely, the marine environmental routine laboratory, the marine hydrometeorological instrument laboratory, the marine environmental pollution monitoring laboratory and the data analysis laboratory. It can carry out research on various topics in the field of marine environmental monitoring technology, and can accept nearly 100 scientific researchers to the laboratory to carry out academic research activities such as academic discussion, scientific experiments, compilation of scientific papers and works. The main research object of the laboratory is to provide effective marine engineering equipment and measuring instruments for forecasting, early warning, disaster prevention, disaster prevention and mitigation of marine environment, marine disasters and marine pollution, such as occurrence mechanism, development law, phenomenon observation, degree monitoring and comprehensive defense and control. The laboratory has hundreds of advanced instruments and equipment, such as electric vibration test-bed, impact table, shaking table, pressure box, constant temperature box, temperature salt box and so on, which can carry out various environmental routine tests, such as liquid chromatograph, external/visible/fluorescence spectrophotometer, atomic absorption spectrometer, etc., and can carry out Marine pollution detection research. It is an advanced instrument in the world at present. In addition, there is a fully functional internal LAN for all kinds of data processing and a set of conventional marine meteorological test equipment. The goal of the Institute is to build the laboratory into an advanced comprehensive laboratory for Marine pollution detection and marine instrument research in China. In order to standardize management and improve product quality and work quality, the Institute passed the ISO9000 quality management system certification in 2000, which opened the way for the further development of the Institute.
The main research direction of our institute is the research and development of marine environmental monitoring and marine disaster early warning system. The main contents are as follows: the research and development of ocean data buoy system; Research and development of marine automatic station monitoring system: research and development of marine meteorological instruments; Research and development of Marine pollution detection instruments: research and development of marine measuring equipment; Military research and development. Our hospital is currently undertaking six national 863 projects. He presided over four projects, such as key technology of large-scale multi-layer monitoring buoy for marine environment, ozone analysis technology of seawater chemical oxygen consumption, research and development technology of micro mass spectrometer, and real-time measurement of various organic substances in seawater by optical method. Participated in two scientific research projects: on-site monitoring technology of marine environmental corrosion capacity; Development of floating body and mooring system of marine optical buoy.
