The electromagnetic heater uses eddy current generated in the cylinder by electromagnetic induction to electrically heat the heated workpiece. It converts electric energy into electromagnetic energy, and then from electromagnetic energy into electric energy, and into heat energy in metal, so as to achieve the purpose of heating metal. Therefore, the electromagnetic heater can only heat the magnetic conductive metal.
Stainless steel is made of magnetic conductivity, but its performance is usually very poor, and different brands vary greatly. So the electromagnetic heater can heat stainless steel, but the efficiency is very low. It is generally considered impossible.
