Shen Weiguo, male, born in Jingshan County, Hubei Province in June 1971, Ph.D., professor, researcher at Road Materials Research Institute, Key Laboratory of Silicate Materials Engineering, Ministry of Education, Wuhan University of Technology. Member of Jiusan Society, director of the Cement Branch of the Chinese Portland Society, executive director of the Wuhan University of Technology-University of California, Berkeley Concrete Joint Laboratory, and chairman of the China Cement Canoe Competition Committee. He has published more than 130 papers and applied for more than 20 national invention patents (10 have been authorized). Committed to the engineering application of industrial solid waste and low-quality resources, basic theoretical research on cement-based materials, development of low-carbon technologies for the cement concrete industry, and advocacy of Chinese university student cement canoe competitions.
