What is the difference between signal relay DX-3 1 and DX-32?

Signal relays DX-3 1 and DX-32 have the same purpose. They are all suitable for DC-operated protection circuits as action indicators.

I. Use

DX-3 1B, DX-32A and DX-32B signal relays are suitable for DC-operated protection circuits as action indicators. DX-3 1BJ, DX-32AJ and DX-32BJ are suitable for AC operated protection circuits as action indicators.

Second, the structure and principle

This signal relay is an electromagnetic signal relay. There is an attractive coil (current or voltage) on the U-shaped magnetizer. A movable plate is installed on the magnetizer, and an insulating plate on the movable plate pushes two groups of moving contacts.

DX-3 1B is an escapement mechanism for mechanical contact locking, and the nameplate is equipped with a signal indicator.

DX-32A model has an additional holding coil as a voltage locking machine, and a signal lamp is installed on the nameplate.

DX-32B has a set of moving contacts, and the holding coil is connected in parallel with the signal lamp, so the holding coil can still work normally when the signal lamp is burnt out.

Working principle: When the pull-in coil of DX-3 1B signal relay is energized, electromagnetic attraction will be generated to attract the moving plate. At this time, the contact is in the working state (the moving contact is closed), and the limit piece is vertically placed on the signal board to display the action. When the attraction coil is disconnected, the contact and indicator are still in working condition due to the function of the limit piece. When the indicator is pressed, the movable plate returns to the initial position, the limiting piece grasps the indicator, and the contact returns to the initial position.

When the pull-in coils of DX-32A and DX-32B signal relays are energized, electromagnetic attraction will be generated to attract the moving plate. At this time, the contacts are in working state, and a group of contacts will keep the coil energized, and the indicator light will indicate action. When the attraction coil is powered off, the relay will keep working due to the electromagnetic attraction of the holding coil, and when the holding coil is powered off, the relay will return to the initial position.
