The word “scale removal” appears on the Lake garment steamer, what’s going on and what should I do?

This is a reminder that you need to clean up the scale! This is the early warning function of the machine.

For magnesium carbonate and calcium carbonate, just use dilute hydrochloric acid, vinegar will also work! Be sure to use the right amount, otherwise it will corrode the utensils!

The method is as follows:

1. Add about 10 grams of citric acid or a little rice vinegar into the bucket, and add water at a ratio of 2/3.

2. After turning on the power, spray steam and wait until the mixture of citric acid and water reduces to half.

3. Turn off the power, and after 10 minutes, completely drain the mixture of citric acid and water in the bucket.

4. Please repeat the above process 2 to 3 times, and only fill it with clean water for the last time to spray steam. At this point, the lime deposits have been completely removed.

Container cleaning:

1. Before cleaning, please make sure you have unplugged the plug and cut off the power supply.

2. Clean the container inside the pot, usually once every three uses.

3. First remove the safety helmet, fill the container with water, plug the mouth of the container with your thumb, shake it for a while and then empty it. Repeat the above steps and it will be clean after 2-3 times.

4. Never add chemical solvents such as descaling agents to clean water.

Another option is to choose a garment ironing machine with automatic cleaning function, which I usually do before ironing clothes. Also use Haomeite's garment ironing machine, which automatically cleans first and then irons the clothes even better! Hope this helps!
