Chicken Feather:
Chicken, divided into chicken and pheasant. The parts exposed outside the body are called outer feathers, such as wing feathers, back feathers, and waist feathers; the parts covered by the skin are called down feathers, or down for short. The output of feathers is 7.6% to 8.6% of the live weight. If it can be widely collected, processed and utilized, a large number of pillow cores, quilt mats, vests, aviation mountaineering clothing and military sleeping bags can be made. Large feathers can also be made into feather fans, Badminton and arrow feathers, etc.
Collection:
Collect the fluff, flakes and large feathers of the chicken body. In particular, the fluff and flakes are the most valuable, so do not miss them.
Various feathers have different qualities and uses, so do not mix them.
To ensure the quality of feathers, do not mix foot shells, viscera, and feces when harvesting feathers.
Drying:
To dry feathers, you should choose a clean place that is sheltered from wind, has sufficient sunlight, and is free from impurities.
Dried feathers should be stored in time to avoid being blown away by the wind and getting wet by dew at night.
