In September 2019, the China State Intellectual Property Office agreed with the Hainan Provincial Intellectual Property Office to carry out a pilot reform of the approval of the use of special signs for geographical indications protected products; on October 16 of the same year, the China State Intellectual Property Office issued a special The logo is an official logo, in accordance with relevant regulations such as trademark law and patent law.

The China State Intellectual Property Office has registered the special marks for geographical indications and included them in official mark protection.
