What should I pay attention to after the successful registration of German trademarks?

1. If the registered trademark ceases to be used for five consecutive years, or ceases to be used for five consecutive years after the end of the objection procedure, you may apply for cancellation of the registered trademark. If no interested party applies for cancellation due to unused during this period, the registered trademark is still protected by law. The same trademark registered in Germany and Switzerland can remain valid if used in Germany, and vice versa. (Germany-Switzerland Agreement on the Protection of Patents, Designs and Trademarks of the Two Countries,1April 892 13)

2. German trademark registration has no relative reason for review, that is, it will not be rejected voluntarily because the trademark is similar to others' previous trademarks, so the trademark can easily pass the review and be announced. In this case, the trademark applicant needs to do a good job of trademark retrieval in the early stage and trademark investigation in the later stage, so as to avoid registering other people's previously registered trademarks and prevent others from registering similar trademarks.
